As a cabinetmaker, I work with both exotic woods (padouck, amatante, cumaru, Massaranduba...) and autochthonous (oak, beech, walnut...) depending on my findings.
In general, these woods are enough in terms of color. I prefer natural tones, the colors are original.
All products that can come into contact with food (trays, cutting boards) are treated for this use: certified glue, finishing treatment of the woods oiled with a mineral oil and a mixture of mineral oil and beeswax.
This finish protects the wood and will facilitate maintenance, as it is enough with a simple wet sponge stroke.
